        What exactly is covered under the Boilercare plan?
        
        The Boilercare plan covers your annual boiler service and repairs to the internal components of your natural gas boiler. It also includes "controls," which covers standard thermostats, programmers, and timers that operate your heating.
      
        What is excluded from this specific plan?
        
        As our essential starter plan, Boilercare excludes repairs to your wider central heating system (radiators and pipework), plumbing (leaks, taps, and toilets), and home electrics. If you require cover for these items, we recommend our Systemcare or Totalcare plans.
      
        Can I book a repair immediately after joining?
        
        There is a 30-day waiting period from your start date before you can request a repair. This ensures we can provide fair pricing to all members by excluding pre-existing faults. Your annual service will be arranged within 30 days of your plan's anniversary.
      
        How much is the excess fee for a boiler repair?
        
        For any approved repair, there is a fixed excess fee payable by card before the work progresses. However, you will never pay an excess fee for your annual boiler service—that is fully included in your monthly subscription.
      
        What happens if my boiler is Beyond Economical Repair (BER)?
        
        If your boiler is under 7 years old and we deem it BER, we may decide to replace it. For boilers over 7 years old, we may offer a contribution of up to £300 (based on your current term's payments) towards a new installation. Please note this applies after 12 months of active membership.
