      How often should I have my boiler serviced?
          We recommend that gas boilers are serviced once a year to keep them working safely and efficiently,
          and to maintain the validity of most manufacturer warranties and some home insurance policies.
        
      What happens during a boiler service?
          During a boiler service we visually inspect the boiler and flue, check for gas and water leaks,
          test safety devices, clean accessible components where required and check combustion using a flue
          gas analyser. We’ll advise you of any issues we find.
        
      How long does a boiler service take?
          A standard boiler service typically takes around 40–50 minutes, depending on the boiler type and
          condition. If we find anything that needs further investigation, we’ll discuss this with you before
          carrying out extra work.
        
      Do I need to do anything before the engineer arrives?
          Please make sure we have clear access to the boiler, flue and any airing cupboards or controls we
          need to reach. If you have pets, it can help to keep them in another room while we’re working.
        
      Will you provide a boiler service record?
          Yes. After the service we’ll provide a record of the checks carried out and any recommendations.
          For landlords, we can also carry out and record a Gas Safety Record for rental properties if requested.
